Taiwanese National Arrested for Running $100M Dark Web Drug Marketplace

Rui-Siang Lin, 23, faces life in prison for allegedly operating Incognito Market, a global platform for illegal narcotics.

Lin was apprehended at JFK Airport and is accused of overseeing all operations of the Incognito Market.
The dark web platform facilitated the sale of heroin, cocaine, methamphetamines, and other drugs since its inception in October 2020.
Incognito Market offered anonymity to users through cryptocurrency transactions and a custom banking system.
The site was shut down in March after reportedly extorting its users and withholding funds.
Lin faces multiple charges including narcotics conspiracy, money laundering, and selling adulterated medication.
