Taiwan Reports 4 Chinese Aircraft and 7 Vessels Near Island, One Crossing Median Line

Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense said that by 6 a.m. local time Sunday it detected 4 PLA aircraft, 6 PLAN ships and 1 official ship operating around the island.
One of the four aircraft crossed the Taiwan Strait’s median line into the northern section of Taiwan’s ADIZ, the ministry reported.
The ministry said it monitored the situation and carried out response measures.
On Saturday, the ministry logged 3 PLA sorties and 6 PLAN vessels, including a crossing into the southwestern ADIZ.
Officials present these detections as part of sustained PLA activity that Taiwan publicly tracks and counters.
