Overview

  • Pettiford averaged 11.6 points and 3.0 assists per game as Auburn’s third-leading scorer and delivered 23 and 20 points in key NCAA Tournament wins.
  • Following workouts with six NBA teams and a standout combine showing, he chose to return rather than accept a less certain draft position this year.
  • Coach Bruce Pearl confirmed Pettiford will move into the starting lineup and assume expanded responsibilities in the 2025-26 season.
  • After losing the rest of its rotation to graduation and the transfer portal, Auburn has added impact transfers including Keyshawn Hall, KeShawn Murphy and Filip Jovic.
  • Pettiford intends to apply NBA feedback during the offseason to refine his skills and target a higher draft slot next year.
