Taco Bell Sets Oct. 7 National Taco Day With Hourly $1 Taco App Drops

The retooled holiday now falls on a Tuesday to let the chain turn Taco Tuesday into a loyalty-driven event.

On National Taco Day, which is Tuesday, Oct. 7, Taco Bell Rewards members can get $5 off Party Packs when they order in the Taco Bell app.

Overview

  • Taco Bell Rewards members can claim $1 Cantina Chicken Soft Tacos in the app every other hour from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT on Oct. 7.
  • Each drop is limited to 25,000 redemptions with a one-per-customer limit per drop.
  • Limited drops also include a 9 a.m. PT National Taco Day T-shirt giveaway and a 7 p.m. PT chance at 100 gift cards valued at $160 for a year of Taco Tuesdays.
  • $5 off Party Packs is available in-app all day for Rewards members, with a DoorDash buy-one-get-one taco promotion for delivery.
  • A Salt & Straw Tacolate collaboration returns to shops on Oct. 3 with nationwide shipping offered.
