Taco Bell Revives 2000s Favorites With Limited ‘Decades Y2K Menu’ Starting Sept. 9

Overview

  • The limited-time lineup rolls out nationwide on Sept. 9, with Taco Bell also debuting Crunchkin, an in-app digital pet that evolves with qualifying purchases to unlock games, points and sweepstakes entries.
  • Five discontinued items return: Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos, Double Decker Taco, 7-Layer Burrito, Chili Cheese Burrito and the Caramel Apple Empanada.
  • Each item is priced at $3 or less, with examples including $2.49 for the Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos and 7-Layer Burrito and $2.99 for the Chili Cheese Burrito and Caramel Apple Empanada.
  • Taco Bell Rewards members get early access to the Caramel Apple Empanada Sept. 2–8 via the app, plus Tuesday merch drops on Sept. 2 (Ed Hardy hat), Sept. 9 (digital watch) and Sept. 16 (Y2K tee), each in limited quantities.
  • To mark the Crunchwrap Supreme’s 20th anniversary, a $9 Discovery Luxe Cravings Box includes a Crunchwrap, Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos, a crunchy taco, chips with nacho cheese and a medium drink, and the launch features a one-night Los Angeles party with a Lil Jon set.
