Overview

  • On June 17 Taco Bell began serving Crispy Chicken Strips in a taco priced at $2.79, a burrito at $5.49 and two strips for $3.99.
  • The strips use the chain’s proprietary tortilla coating first seen on December’s Crispy Chicken Nuggets.
  • Customers can choose between Spicy Ranchero or Avocado Ranch sauces with the new items.
  • A promotional campaign features Kate Flannery, rapper GaTa and chef Christian Petroni recording videos for the launch.
  • Following limited runs that saw nuggets sell out in under a week, the chain intends to make crispy chicken a permanent menu category in 2026.
