- FIRT Olmeca’s Comando Tiburón carried out an October 12 operation at La Corregidora in Centro (Villahermosa), detaining a 14-year-old and a 37-year-old identified as José Asunción “N”.
- Authorities say the minor tried to fire a Uzi-style submachine gun at officers, but the weapon jammed and he was captured without injuries reported.

- The adult detainee reportedly told officers he took orders from a jailed figure known as “El Chicle,” held at the state reentry center in Tabasco.
