Tabasco Raid Captures 14-Year-Old Alleged Cell Leader After Uzi Jams

Investigators review seized phones and weapons to probe possible orders from a leader held in the Tabasco state prison.

  • Officers reported seizing suspected marijuana and meth, long guns, ammunition, threat placards, and a cellphone with videos allegedly tied to a kidnapping and a homicide.
  • The adult detainee was identified as José Asunción "N" ("El Chuncho"), 37, who was taken into custody as part of actions targeting activity in Centro and Paraíso.
  • Officials placed the minor with child protection authorities and presented the adult to a control judge while examining alleged links to the jailed figure known as "El Chicle."
