Overview

  • T-Mobile Fiber officially launched June 3, moving beyond trials to serve over 500,000 U.S. households.
  • The rollout follows April’s acquisition of fiber provider Lumos as part of a push to serve 12–15 million homes by 2030 with support from a pending Metronet deal.
  • Customers can choose from four plans—Fiber500, Fiber1 Gig, Fiber2 Gig plus a limited Founders Club tier—with symmetrical speeds from 500 Mbps to 2 Gbps, offering Autopay cost reductions for voice-line customers.
  • All plans include long-term price guarantees with five-year locks for standard tiers, ten-year locks for the Founders Club plan.
  • The service bundles Wi-Fi 6 routers on Fiber500 with mesh hardware on higher tiers; it offers unlimited data, no annual contracts, qualifies for T-Mobile Tuesdays perks.
