SZA Expands 'SOS Deluxe: Lana' with Four New Songs

The release precedes her Super Bowl Halftime Show appearance with Kendrick Lamar and brings 'SOS' back to No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

SZA added four new tracks to her 'SOS Deluxe: Lana' album, including 'Joni' featuring Don Toliver, 'Take You Down,' 'PSA,' and a solo version of 'Open Arms.'
The updated edition of 'Lana' was released just before SZA's scheduled performance with Kendrick Lamar at the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show.
'SOS Deluxe: Lana,' originally released in December 2024, already included 15 additional tracks and brought the album back to the top of the Billboard 200 for its 12th non-consecutive week.
SZA faced delays in releasing the new tracks, citing issues with sample clearances and industry holiday schedules, which frustrated some fans.
The release coincides with SZA's ongoing success, including a Grammy win for Best R&B Song for 'Saturn' and her upcoming joint tour with Kendrick Lamar starting in April 2025.
