System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster Set to Launch June 26, 2025

Nightdive Studios brings the sci-fi horror classic to consoles for the first time with enhanced visuals, cross-play multiplayer, and community mod integration.

The remaster will release on June 26, 2025, for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
This is the first time System Shock 2 will be available on consoles, featuring optimized controller support and UI adjustments.
Enhanced graphics include 4K resolution, up to 144 FPS on PC, and up to 120 FPS on next-gen consoles, alongside ultra-widescreen support.
Cross-play co-op multiplayer and integrated community mods, including the SS2 Community Patch, aim to improve gameplay balance and accessibility.
Development spanned six years due to challenges with the original source code and competing projects, requiring extensive reverse engineering.
