Symone Woolridge Named Evening Anchor at Minneapolis' KMSP-TV

The former Milwaukee morning anchor will begin her new role in December, reuniting with her family in the Twin Cities.

Symone Woolridge will co-anchor the 5 p.m., 5:30 p.m., and 6:30 p.m. newscasts at KMSP-TV in Minneapolis starting in December.
Woolridge previously worked as a morning anchor at WTMJ-TV in Milwaukee and has prior experience in Memphis and Tupelo.
This move reunites Woolridge with her partner, Ahmad Hicks, who also works at KMSP-TV, and their 2-year-old son in Minneapolis.
KMSP-TV's news director praised Woolridge as a versatile journalist who excels at creating content across multiple platforms.
