• Sweeney gained over 30 pounds and spent three and a half months training with morning and evening weightlifting sessions and two-hour midday kickboxing workouts.
• She adopted brown contact lenses and a brunette mullet-style wig and rose from jeans size 23 to 27 to mirror Martin’s physique.
• The untitled biopic, co-written by David Michôd and Mirrah Foulkes, traces Martin’s rise from pioneering female boxer to Sports Illustrated cover star and her 2010 survival of an attempted murder by her husband.
