Sydney Student Dies in Tragic Car Accident

An international student was killed when a car driven by his friend crashed into him outside a home in south-west Sydney.

Ismail Hossain, an international student, was struck and killed by a car in Wiley Park, Sydney.
The driver, 24-year-old Nasir Uddin, allegedly pressed the accelerator instead of the brake while parking.
Emergency services were unable to revive Hossain, who died at the scene shortly after midnight.
Uddin has been charged with negligent driving occasioning death and was refused bail.
A crime scene has been established, and police are conducting an investigation into the incident.
