  • NSW Police running Strike Force Rubi executed five search warrants about 4am Wednesday in Rockdale and Roselands.
  • Investigators allege a 56-year-old postal worker stole about 70 pieces of mail in Edgecliff, Woollahra and Double Bay.
  • Police say the stolen bank cards were supplied to two organised crime groups and used in roughly $1.4 million of fraud.
  • Men aged 56, 35 and 27 were arrested, charged with numerous fraud-related offences, and refused bail after Thursday court appearances.
  • Seized items included more than $14,000 in cash, an encrypted communications device, stolen cards, a Taser and luxury goods, and Australia Post is assisting the ongoing inquiry.
