Switch 2 Tops Japan’s Dec. 22–28 Sales With Mario Kart World No. 1

  • Mario Kart World is the week’s best-selling physical game at 94,645 copies, reaching 2,668,381 lifetime sales.
  • Pokemon Legends: Z-A places second on Switch at 59,469 units, while the Switch 2 edition ranks fourth at 46,868 and now totals 1,004,154.
  • Kirby Air Riders sells 47,793 on Switch 2, and Momotaro Dentetsu 2 charts on both platforms with 32,649 on Switch and 30,154 on Switch 2.
  • Famitsu provides lifetime hardware totals, including Switch 2 at 3,784,067 units, and Gematsu notes ranks 11–30 will be published on January 9.
