Residents of Brienz have been forced to leave their homes as a massive debris flow threatens the village.

Approximately 1.2 million cubic meters of rocky debris is moving toward Brienz, posing a significant risk to the village.
Authorities have evacuated around 80 residents, who are now staying with relatives or in nearby accommodations.
This marks the second evacuation in Brienz in two years, following a similar landslide threat in 2023.
