Overview
- SWISS will receive ten Airbus A350-900s from October 2025 through late 2031, with the first jet due to arrive in October.
- The inaugural A350 will operate intra-European familiarization flights in late 2025 to train crew on the new aircraft.
- All A350s will feature the SWISS Senses cabin concept in four classes, seating 242 passengers including three First Class suites.
- Service on the first long-haul route between Zürich and Boston is scheduled to begin on January 1, 2026.
- Initial deliveries will replace four A340-300s, followed by the oldest A330-300s as part of Lufthansa Group’s widebody fleet renewal.
