Overview

  • Swiggy notified sellers via email on July 2 that the Minis platform will be discontinued on August 10, 2025.
  • Launched in 2022 as a zero-commission D2C storefront and pivoted in 2024 to a link-in-bio service, Minis failed to drive more than 5–10% of direct merchant traffic.
  • The shutdown follows the May suspension of its Genie errand service, marking the second closure in Swiggy’s platform innovations portfolio.
  • Swiggy’s platform innovations segment posted a 40% year-on-year revenue drop to INR 21.4 crore and saw losses more than double to INR 36.1 crore in Q4 FY25.
  • With non-core services underperforming, Swiggy is reallocating resources and attention back to its flagship food delivery business and quick commerce arm.
