Her name pays tribute to family members, including her grandmothers Queen Silvia and Marie Britt Rotman, and her great-aunt Princess Lilian of Sweden.
Princess Ines has been granted the title Duchess of Västerbotten but will not hold the style of 'Her Royal Highness' following a 2019 decision by King Carl XVI Gustaf.
She is eighth in line to the Swedish throne, following her three older brothers: Prince Alexander, Prince Gabriel, and Prince Julian.
