Overview

• Saab is the prime contractor under FMV and will design, build and test the Large Uncrewed Undersea Vehicle.
• The system is being developed as a multi-sensor decision-support platform to map seabed infrastructure and detect underwater threats.
• Saab will integrate its Autonomous Ocean Core to provide autonomous capabilities on and below the water’s surface.
• The initial development phase will not include weapons, concentrating instead on sensors and autonomy.
