The series, based on the 1975 television series and 2003 film of the same name, centers on Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson, a former Marine leading the Special Weapons and Tactics unit of the LAPD.
Season 1 aired from November 2, 2017, to May 17, 2018, with 22 episodes; Season 2 aired from September 27, 2018, to May 16, 2019, with 23 episodes; and Season 3 aired from October 2, 2019, to May 20, 2020, with 21 episodes.
The series is executive produced by Shawn Ryan, Neal H. Moritz, Aaron Rahsaan Thomas, Marney Hochman, Danielle Woodrow, Pavun Shetty, Justin Lin, and Paul Bernard.
