  • The incident began around 10:30 a.m. at a home on the 1800 block of Market Street in Harrisburg.
  • Police closed parts of 18th, 19th and Zarker streets as tactical units, a K-9 and a drone deployed.
  • Around 12:40 p.m., EMS escorted a man with a bandage on his left hand from the house and loaded him into an ambulance.
  • Officers started reopening Market Street around 1 p.m., and the large law-enforcement presence eased.
  • Officials had not released why the response was needed as of 2:30 p.m., after assistance from Harrisburg, Steelton, Swatara, Susquehanna and the Pennsylvania Capitol Police.
