Overview

• The spinoff reunites Moore with the original Los Angeles crew and introduces series regulars Lucy Barrett, Adain Bradley, Zyra Gorecki, Freddy Miyares and Ronen Rubinstein.
• Storyline: Hondo is pulled from forced retirement to lead an experimental S.W.A.T. unit of untested recruits in a darker, more character-driven take.
• Original series veterans Jay Harrington and Patrick St. Esprit return in the pilot as Sergeant David “Deacon” Kay and Commander Robert Hicks.
• Jason Ning serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Shemar Moore, James Scura and Jon Cowan, with Kevin Tancharoen directing the first episode.
