Overview
- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh led a drive at the Army Headquarters canteen, took the Swachhata pledge, honoured Safai Mitras, planted saplings, and flagged off a Safai Run with 100 NCC cadets alongside top military chiefs.
- At Delhi’s Kalindi Kunj Yamuna ghat, Jal Shakti ministers C. R. Patil and V. Somanna oversaw a shramdaan in which participants collected about 2,500 kg of waste within an hour.
- Indian Railways ran synchronized clean-ups, including Western Railway’s Mumbai Central station and Central Railway’s CSMT, with Central Railway staff pledging 100 hours annually to cleanliness activities.
