Overview
- The final stop of the three-event SVNS World Championship runs in Bordeaux on June 5–7 at Stade Atlantique and uses combined points from Hong Kong, Valladolid and Bordeaux to decide champions and core-team status.
- Men's and women's pool draws have been published, with the men's pools placing South Africa, Fiji, Kenya and Great Britain together and the women's pools grouping New Zealand, France, South Africa and Argentina in Pool A.
- South Africa leads the men's standings by four points and will guarantee the men's World Championship if they reach the Bordeaux Cup Final; tie-breakers such as match-points differential would decide the title if teams finish level on points.
- Australia tops the women's ladder after winning Valladolid and will be crowned 2026 women's SVNS champions if they win the Bordeaux Cup Final, while New Zealand, the USA, France, Canada and Japan can still move up if Australia falters.
- Several men's teams — including Argentina, Australia, Fiji, Spain and New Zealand — remain mathematically in contention for the overall crown and lower-ranked women's sides such as Brazil and Great Britain face real relegation risk that will affect their top-tier status next season.
