Overview

  • Singer-guitarist Serena Cherry says the band felt they had one song left and chose to end on a high rather than drift on without a final statement.
  • Farewell tour kicks off in the UK this November with support from Cage Fight and Knife Bride before moving into Europe and Japan through 2026.
  • The band will drop a standalone final single ahead of their last performances to bookend four albums of post-hardcore, post-metal and black metal fusion.
  • Formed in 2011 and based between Bristol and London, Svalbard built a loyal fanbase with emotionally raw, socially conscious lyrics and critical acclaim.
  • They are due to make their Download Festival debut on June 13, 2025, as part of their send-off schedule.
