Suzuki Opens Bookings for e-Access, Its First Electric Scooter in India

The premium mass-market model leans on an LFP battery with dealer-backed support to attract urban EV buyers.

  • Bookings are now open nationwide at Rs 1.88 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), with deliveries set to start shortly.
  • A 4.1 kW motor with 15 Nm and a 3.07 kWh LFP battery delivers a 71 km/h top speed and an IDC range of up to 95 km.
  • Charging takes about 4 hours 30 minutes to 80% at home or 6 hours 42 minutes to full, while DC fast charging reaches 80% in roughly 1 hour 12 minutes.
  • Retail will run through more than 1,200 dealerships backed by over 240 DC fast-charging outlets, portable AC chargers and certified EV technicians.
  • Launch benefits include a 7-year/80,000 km warranty and a three-year 60% buy-back, and the scooter is positioned between the Simple One Gen 2 and Ather 450 Apex with online sales via Flipkart to follow and India-based production for export.
