Suzanna's Kitchen Recalls 62,550 Pounds of Breaded Chicken for Undeclared Soy

FSIS is pressing restaurants to discard remaining cases to prevent allergic reactions.

Overview

  • The fully cooked, bone-in breaded chicken was produced on Oct. 16, 2025, in 18‑lb cases labeled "FULLY COOKED BREADED CHICKEN PORTIONS."
  • Affected cases bear establishment number P-1380 and case code "P-1380 126237 B30851 23:11 K04" and were shipped to restaurants nationwide.
  • No confirmed illnesses have been reported, but the undeclared soy poses risks for people with allergies and some product may still be in restaurant freezers.
  • Suzanna’s Kitchen identified the mislabeling and notified FSIS, which announced the recall and is monitoring its effectiveness.
  • Restaurants are instructed not to serve the product, to discard it and clean contact surfaces, and questions can be directed to Suzanna’s Kitchen or the USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline.
