Suzanna’s Kitchen Recalls 13,720 Pounds of Ready-to-Eat Chicken in 7 States Over Listeria Risk

FSIS is urging commercial kitchens to discard the identified lot following a positive Listeria test.

Overview

  • The recalled batch consists of 10-pound cases containing two 5-pound bags of fully cooked grilled chicken breast fillets with rib meat, produced Oct. 14, 2025, bearing lot code 60104 P1382 287 5 J14 and establishment number P-1382.
  • The items were shipped to foodservice distribution centers in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, New Hampshire, North Carolina, and Ohio.
  • FSIS announced the recall on Jan. 16 after a third-party laboratory detected Listeria monocytogenes in a sample.
  • No illnesses have been confirmed; listeriosis poses the greatest risk to pregnant people, older adults, and those with weakened immune systems.
  • Distribution centers and commercial kitchens are instructed to stop use and discard or return the product, and this action is separate from a larger Suzanna’s Kitchen recall about a month earlier for misbranding and an undeclared allergen.
