- The 9-year-old passenger in the SUV remains in critical condition with multiple fractures to her head, face and arm.
- A 13-year-old girl in the SUV suffered facial lacerations and the driver sustained bruises but both were listed in good condition.
- The sedan’s driver received a citation and its 11-year-old passenger was treated for a minor head injury and released.
- Chicago police’s Major Accidents Unit has opened an investigation and charges against the SUV driver are pending.
