Overview

• On June 28, U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents and Atlanta police intercepted more than 50 pounds of cannabis products in a traveler’s checked suitcase bound for São Paulo.
• Seized contraband included 12.35 pounds of THC wax, 34.39 pounds of hashish, 4.6 pounds of marijuana and 1.2 pounds of pasty marijuana.
• Police body camera footage released July 12 shows officers uncovering the concealed drugs from a large suitcase during secondary inspection.
• Twenty-two-year-old Vance Ray Randolph was arrested on marijuana trafficking charges before being released from Clayton County Jail on June 30.
