Suspect in Merton Hit-and-Run Turns Himself In

Investigators say both victims remain hospitalized with serious injuries.

  • The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office says a 33-year-old man connected to Tuesday night’s hit-and-run came forward after investigators located the suspected vehicle late on Dec. 3.
  • The crash occurred around 8:44 p.m. on Main Street near Huntington Street, where a northbound blue sedan struck a 64-year-old man and a 64-year-old woman outside KJ’s Watering Hole.
  • Both pedestrians were transported to local hospitals with serious injuries, and no condition update has been provided.
  • Deputies had released surveillance images of a blue sedan, and nearby security video captured the car continuing north seconds after the impact.
