Overview

• An erratic chase of a stolen SUV from Medford through Stoneham and Billerica ended in Everett when Vizcaino crashed near Encore Boston Harbor Casino and seized a Republic Services trash truck.
• Police used tasers and then fired at Vizcaino on the Alford Street Bridge after the hijacked truck leapt onto the sidewalk, bringing the rampage to a halt.
• Vizcaino remains hospitalized in critical condition and is charged with four counts of attempted armed carjacking, two counts of armed carjacking, assault, armed assault with intent to rob and various motor vehicle offenses.
