Suspect fatally shot by police after stabbing four in Maryland suburb

A man stabbed four people with a butcher knife at random locations in Montgomery County, Maryland on Saturday.
The victims included three women and one man; their injuries ranged from critical to superficial.
Police confronted the suspect near the scene of the attacks and shot him when he lunged at them with the knife.
The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene while the victims were hospitalized and expected to survive.
