  • On July 18 at around 5 a.m., Rajan Shivnarayan Singh allegedly pushed an unidentified woman in front of a moving goods train on platform 5 at Diva station, killing her instantly
  • Thane Railway Police constable Sagar Shinde apprehended Singh after he tried to flee along the tracks and handed him over to the Government Railway Police
  • Singh has been booked under section 103 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and remanded in police custody until July 22
