Suspect Arrested in Violent NYC Spa Crime Spree

Shahab Usman faces multiple charges including attempted murder and sexual assault, while his accomplice remains at large.

Shahab Usman, 40, has been arrested in connection with a series of violent robberies and sexual assaults at spas in Queens, New York.
Usman, along with an accomplice who is still at large, allegedly began their crime spree on November 26, targeting four different spas.
In one incident, Usman allegedly shot a man in the stomach who is now in critical condition.
In two separate incidents, Usman is accused of sexually assaulting women at gunpoint.
Despite the spas being under Asian ownership, the NYPD has deemed the violent robberies as 'crimes of opportunity.'
