Suspect Arrested in L.A. French Bulldog Dognapping, Dog Remains Missing

21-year-old Sadie Slater was arrested in Inglewood, California, for her alleged involvement in the dognapping of a French bulldog named Onyx.
The incident occurred in downtown Los Angeles on January 18, when Onyx was stolen as his owner, Ali Zacharias, attempted to stop the thieves.
Zacharias suffered cuts and bruises after being thrown from the hood of the getaway car, which was captured in a widely shared video.
French bulldogs are a popular target for thieves due to their high demand and value; Onyx has not been recovered yet.
The Los Angeles Police Department and U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force collaborated in the arrest; the search for additional suspects continues.
