Suspect Arrested in Brazil for Murder of New York Art Dealer Brent Sikkema

Alejandro Triana Trevez, a 30-year-old Cuban, has been arrested in Brazil in connection with the murder of Brent Sikkema, a prominent New York art dealer.
Sikkema was found dead with multiple stab wounds in his Rio de Janeiro apartment.
Trevez was apprehended at a gas station between the cities of Uberaba and Uberlandia, about 600 miles northwest of Rio de Janeiro.
Security camera footage showed Trevez exiting a parked car outside Sikkema's home in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Sikkema's friends believe the murder was premeditated, a theory possibly supported by the security camera footage.
