Suspect Arrested for Unprovoked Attacks on Asian American Pacific Islander Community in Calabasas

- The first attack occurred at approximately 4:30 pm near the 26000 block of Agoura Road and Lost Springs Drive/ Cottonwood Grove Trail, with the victim being a juvenile.
- The second attack, which was caught on video, happened at 4:49 pm on the 4000 block of Lost Springs Road, where Sanchez Jr. punched a 60-year-old grandfather pushing his infant grandchild in a stroller.
- Both victims were not seriously injured, and the motive for the attacks is currently under investigation, with a possible racial motive being considered.
- Sanchez Jr., a resident of Santa Barbara, was located in the city of Oxnard and booked at Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station for Assault with Force Likely to Produce Great Bodily Injury.
