Suspect Arrested for Alleged Sexual Assault on Former Senator Martha McSally During Jog in Iowa

Dominic Henton, 25, was arrested in Omaha, Nebraska, after allegedly sexually assaulting former U.S. Senator Martha McSally during a jog in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
McSally, a former Air Force pilot and sexual abuse survivor, fought off the attacker and chased him down, throwing her water bottle at him as he fled.
The Council Bluffs Police Department used surveillance footage and credit card information from a nearby restaurant to identify Henton as the suspect.
McSally, who has previously spoken about her experiences with sexual abuse, stated that the incident 'tapped into a nerve of other sexual abuse and assault' she had experienced in the past.
Following Henton's arrest, McSally addressed him directly on social media, stating, 'Dominic Henton, like I screamed at you yesterday (with profanity), you will not get away with this or try to harm and violate another woman. You picked the wrong target.'
