Suspect arrested after missing California woman shot, kidnapped from park and found dead

Andrea Vasquez was with her boyfriend at Penn Park in Whittier when she was shot and kidnapped by an armed suspect.
Vasquez's boyfriend fled and returned to find blood and no sign of Vasquez.
Vasquez's body was later discovered in a field in Moreno Valley.
Police arrested Gabriel Esparza and charged him with Vasquez's kidnapping and murder.
The attack appears to have been random, and the investigation is ongoing.
