Suspect arrested after lockdowns at Hawaii Army bases over armed confrontation

A man got into a scuffle with soldiers while armed with a handgun at Schofield Barracks.
The incident prompted lockdowns at Schofield Barracks and Wheeler Army Airfield as police searched for the man.
Two schools near Schofield Barracks also went into lockdown as a precaution.
The suspect, identified as Paul A. Smith, was seen fleeing on a bike and driving a white sedan.
Smith was later arrested on the island of Molokai, and the lockdowns were lifted.
