• Officers responded around 9:05 p.m. Sunday to a home in Edenvale after a housemate reported finding their roommate unconscious with injuries consistent with assault.
• Responding officers pronounced the unnamed male victim dead at the scene after he was found not breathing and suffering multiple blunt-force injuries.
• Police arrested an unnamed suspect at the Danze Drive residence and declined to release the person’s identity pending family notification.
• The killing is the 18th homicide in San Jose so far this year and remains under active investigation by the SJPD Homicide Unit.
