• Jeff Probst said producers briefly lost radio contact during the transfer, prompting frantic concern about his condition before he arrived conscious at the dock.
• The medical team determined no venom was injected but did not clear a return; Probst said Latimer then received IVs and additional monitoring at a hospital, making reentry infeasible and unfair.
• Producers consulted Fijian crew, doctors and wildlife experts, who had not encountered human sea krait bites, and they reassured players that such incidents are extremely rare.
