A YouGov survey found that 24% of Germans chose 'Home Alone' (1990) as their favorite Christmas film, making it the most popular overall.
'Three Wishes for Cinderella,' a 1973 Czech classic, is the top pick among women (27%), while 'Home Alone' leads among men (24%).
Other popular films include 'The Little Lord' (18%), 'Sissi' (11%), and 'Santa Clause' (10%), with a mix of classics and modern favorites ranking lower.
Approximately 17% of respondents said they do not watch Christmas films, with men more likely to avoid them (20%) compared to women (15%).
These beloved films are widely available on streaming platforms and traditional TV, with many airing during prime holiday slots on German networks.
