Surrey RCMP Seize 56 Kg of Suspected Drugs and $1M in Assets, Arrest 4 in Six-Month Probe

  • Police executed a Sept. 10 search warrant at a Guildford home in Surrey, where officers found processing and packaging equipment.
  • Investigators seized more than 56 kilograms of suspected illicit drugs and cutting agents, including 24 kg of methamphetamine and 9 kg of fentanyl, along with crack cocaine and benzodiazepines.
  • Assets estimated at over $1 million were taken, including two pickup trucks, two SUVs, a motorhome and $54,000 in cash.
  • RCMP allege the operation supplied large volumes of drugs across British Columbia from the Lower Mainland to the Okanagan.
  • Four people were arrested as RCMP prepare a report for the Public Prosecution Service of Canada, which Supt. Ryan Element said represents a significant disruption to the local drug trade.
