Overview

• The alleged rape of a 15-year-old girl took place on June 27 at about 7pm near Chertsey Library when she and a friend were approached by two men
• Surrey Police describe the person of interest as a teenager with slicked-back blonde hair wearing a white jumper, blue jeans and white trainers
• On July 7 the force unveiled CCTV images of the suspect and renewed its public appeal for assistance in the ongoing investigation
• No arrests have been made and detectives say incidents of this nature are viewed with extreme concern as the inquiry continues
