• Alpesh Solanki, a 41-year-old PE teacher in Surat’s Dindoli area, poisoned his sons aged 7 and 2 before dying by suicide on August 1, police say.
• Investigators recovered an eight-page suicide note, two 200-page diaries and three video recordings in which Solanki detailed years of alleged mental abuse and his wife’s four-year affair with Rathod.
• In his note Solanki expressed doubts about the paternity of his younger son and accused Rathod, an agriculture extension officer, of visiting the home during his trips.
• Umra police charged Falguni Solanki and Rathod with abetment to suicide and are probing claims of prolonged emotional torture in connection with the familicide.
• Forensic analysis of the seized documents and video evidence is underway to corroborate the teacher’s allegations and determine further criminal liability.
