Five skilled jewelers in Surat, India, spent 60 days crafting a 4.3-carat lab-grown diamond replica of Donald Trump as a gift for his second presidential term.
The diamond, graded D for its exceptional purity and brilliance, was created using high-pressure laboratory techniques and expert cutting processes.
The carving is valued at over ₹20 lakh (approximately $24,000) and showcases Surat’s global reputation for diamond craftsmanship and innovation in lab-grown diamonds.
This is not the first international gift from Surat's diamond industry; in 2023, a green lab-grown diamond was gifted by Prime Minister Modi to Jill Biden, wife of former U.S. President Joe Biden.
